Immune cells, inflammation, and aging

What is skin aging?

Skin aging is characterized by a series of structural and functional changes that gradually contribute to the deterioration and fragility associated with age. Aged skin has a reduced capacity to regenerate, poor healing ability, and diminished barrier function. In process, different types of cells with aging and identifying how some immune cells in the skin express high levels of interleukin proteins.

Immune cells, inflammation, and skin aging

When exposed to various external stressors, skin cells become overactive and produce interleukin proteins, leading to chronic inflammation. Over time, in low-level, it accelerates skin aging by weakening cell bonds and breaking down collagen and elastin. Additionally, it changes the skin's lipid composition and impaired barrier function.

Consequently, the skin shows signs of aging, including fine lines, dullness, dryness, uneven tone, and texture.

Interleukin proteins play a key role in skin aging

Delving into the connection between immune cells, inflammation, and aging above, scientific research has found that the interleukin proteins play a pivotal role in skin aging, with their temporary inhibition resulting in delayed aging symptoms. This opens up new perspectives in the development of therapies to improve skin aging health.

RR 222 reverses skin aging by novel bioactive molecules

RESOM a novel molecule specifically developed by our of researchers, which target immune surveillance and address chronic inflammation.

RESOM targets lymphoid-derived interleukin proteins signaling and uses targeted therapy to impact T cells, helping to delay skin aging.

Alleviate the degradation of extracellular matrix, by reducing the expression of MMPs, which are responsible for degrading collagen, of which MMP-1 is the main protease.

RESOM x Lipid-Based Delivery System technology

Our technology offers enhanced skin target-site penetration and the levels of RESOM needed to support skin against the detrimental impacts of inflammaging. Furthermore, this technology is an economically and environmentally viable alternative to a resource-intensive material supply chain but also assures active stability and is consistent in efficacy.
